Sleep boot camp
What is it?
If, after having read Dr Harrington's book you still can't manage to get the sleep you wante, then you may need Sleep Boot Camp.
This is a 3 week on-line programme that uses your sleep-record to help you overcome your sleep difficulties.
By monitoring the hours you sleep and your sleep behaviours this programme will discover why you are not sleeping and give solutions to how to sleep better and longer.
What does Sleep Boot Camp involve?
Step 1: You complete an on-line questionnaire and keep an on-line diary for 2 weeks.
Step 2: Dr Harrington analyses the questionnaire and diary. Following this analysis Dr Harrington will recommend a program for you to follow for the next 3 weeks.
Step 3: Improvements in sleep will be monitored weekly and you will be able to speak with Dr Harington weekly to discuss any concerns you have about your sleep progress.
Should I sign up for Sleep Boot Camp?
Sleep Boot Camp may not be for everyone. There are many things that can affect your sleep and sometimes on-line courses cannot provide what is needed. If you:
- Snore regularly and think you may have sleep apnoea,
- Are a very restless sleeper and think you may have restless legs
- Suffer from a major depressive illness
then Sleep Boot Camp is not for you.
In all of these cases you need to consult your doctor personally as they will be able to provide you with the best solution.
If however you do not have any of these symptoms and think that you may be unknowingly sabotaging your sleep then Sleep Boot Camp may just be the solution to your sleep problems.
